CostHex
Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Louerable, Inc. (“CostHex”, “we”) for the use of costhex.com and the CostHex service. By using them you accept these terms. If you use CostHex for a company, you accept them on its behalf.
What CostHex does
CostHex reads usage from the cloud accounts you connect, estimates what it costs, and alerts you when spend looks too high. It currently supports Cloudflare Workers. Features marked as coming later are not part of the service until they ship.
Alerts are a safety net, not a guarantee
Cost figures are estimates based on usage data and published prices. Providers report usage with delays, APIs fail, and messages can be delayed or lost. CostHex may miss, delay or misjudge a spike. You remain responsible for your cloud accounts and for every charge your providers bill you. CostHex is not liable for those charges. Keep your providers’ own budgets and limits in place.
Your accounts and credentials
- Only connect accounts you are authorized to connect, and grant only the permissions a feature asks for.
- You can revoke a token or role at any time at your provider, which stops CostHex’s access.
- Any feature that changes your cloud account (such as pausing a resource) is off until you turn it on for a specific resource, and runs at your direction.
Acceptable use
Don’t use CostHex to access accounts you don’t control, to disrupt the service or others, or to probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission. We may suspend accounts that do.
Plans and payment
Prices are shown on costhex.com. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record, so your purchase is also subject to Stripe’s terms and receipt. Prices exclude taxes that Stripe adds where required.
Founding member offer. A one-time payment that covers your first year of the Pro plan once early access opens. If CostHex does not yet support the platform you need, email us for a full refund.
Ending the service
You can stop using CostHex at any time. We may stop offering the service with reasonable notice, and will refund the unused part of any prepaid period if we do.
Disclaimer
CostHex is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, CostHex will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, or charges from your cloud or API providers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and email you before significant changes take effect.
